About Structure: Bodhi is a handsome young Labrador Retriever with a classic blocky head, expressive eyes, and a tall, lanky teenage build. He is still growing and filling out, so we expect him to continue maturing both physically and mentally over the coming months. Bodhi has the look of a traditional Labrador with plenty of substance developing underneath his youthful frame. He is in good health, receives routine wellness care and grooming, and is continuing to mature into a very handsome young male.

About Temperament: Bodhi is an exceptionally sweet and affectionate Labrador who genuinely loves his people. He has a gentle, tender personality and enjoys being close to his handler. Bodhi can be a little softer and more sensitive than some of our other young dogs, and he is still learning to navigate new experiences with confidence. He responds beautifully to kindness, encouragement, and clear direction and is happiest when he knows what is expected of him. He enjoys other dogs, likes meeting people, and has a naturally gentle demeanor. Bodhi is still figuring out who he is as a young dog, but his incredibly sweet nature makes him a wonderful dog to work with and get to know.

About Training Style: Bodhi has been introduced to positive reinforcement training and is continuing to build his skills, confidence, and understanding of the world around him. He is eager to please and responds best when training is kept positive, encouraging, and clear. As a softer young dog, we are intentional about allowing him time to process new situations rather than rushing him through them. He is learning to look to his handler for guidance and is making steady progress as his confidence develops. Bodhi has experience getting out into the world and being exposed to different people, places, dogs, and everyday distractions. He is still in the learning stages of his training, but his willingness to connect with his handler and his genuinely sweet nature give him a wonderful foundation to build upon.

    • Auto-settle down when in same spot for duration of over 1 minute

    • Solid Stay when handler is 20+ feet away

    • Recall from any distance off-leash
